Well here is the last Mixed Up; Mashed Up Short of 2008… this year has gone by so quickly!

It feels like just last week I was counting down the days until I got to see Corbin in concert and HSM3 in the theaters… both have come and gone now… but the next three months will be filled with Corbin goodness!! His music video for “Celebrate You” debuts tonight and there’s a sneak peek for his video “Moments That Matter” on his official website. Then February 6, Free Style comes out in theaters!! February 17, HSM3 is out on dvd. Then March 10 his cd “Speed of Light” comes out!!!

Anyway… MUMUS #40 (I only have 23 left to write) is up. It’s a Rated M Ryella called A Cattle Creek Gang New Years.

I’m back with another update, bet you’re excited!

Today’s update is a Troyella story for the Mixed Up; Mashed Up Shorts collection. It’s Rated M and called I Wanna Be With You.

I have two other things as well, last night after I posted the Epilogue of Torn I worked on a few layouts for other stories and I’ve moved both Group Date and Second Best to their own sub-sites.

Geez… have I got updates for you guys! I’m updating today, tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday!!

Well I hope everybody had a great Christmas. Mine was pretty good minus getting sick and spending most of the afternoon in bed sleeping. But nevertheless, I got a lot of cool stuff and got to spend some time with my crazy family members

I have a new update for you guys today. I mentioned a couple weeks ago that I was working on a 12 part drabble that I would post here after Christmas. I couldn’t post it before because I was updating it every day and frankly I was too lazy to updated it here… so if you haven’t read it, you should check out my Chaylor drabble series called 12 Days of Christmas.

Now I’m going to go work on Torn and a couple Mixed Up; Mashed Up Shorts.

I am so happy to be able to post right now. I spent 32 of the last 37 without power (save for 8 hours I was at a friend’s house) and no heat.

With Christmas just two days away I’m posting my last Christmas story… sad I know.

I’m snowed/iced in and have been for most of the week. Thankfully I have food, heat, power and internet! Though with the freezing rain started again there is a small fear of a tree branch snapping a write outside the house…

Yesterday I posted a brand new Mixed Up; Mashed Up Short called Present For Santa it’s a Troypay and rated M.

Today I finally posted the first short story sequel for Against the Odds. It’s called Christmas Time and it too is rated M.

Following Christmas and before New Years I will be bringing you two more Mixed Up; Mashed Up Shorts a Ryella and a Troyella. As well as the Epilogue of Torn.

I have the first of my Christmas stories up for you guys. It’s a Mixed Up; Mashed Up Short and is part 2 of the Cattle Creek Gang series. It’s called A Cattle Creek Gang Christmas is stars Troy and Taylor is rated M.

So as you can see I put up a Christmasy layout :-D I’ve also written 12 drabbles that I’m calling the 12 Days Of Christmas. You can read them on ff.net or at my LJ and I will be putting them on here after Christmas. A new drabble will be posted every day until Christmas.

It’s official I am done with school for the year 2008!! And in June 2009 I will be done school forever! (unless I go back later…) but whatever DONE! DONE! DONE! hahaha

Anyway, I got a lot of little goodies for you guys!

I will start by posting the link to my LJ allyxocorbin and remind you that there are drabbles posted there that won’t be put on NBY so if you want to read them you’ll have to go there.

Second thing is that Cate and I are working on On the Rebound again and she posted Chapter 21 last night and I will be posted Chapter 22 sometime next week so stay tuned for that.

The last update for tonight is still warm from the presses… I’m of course talking about Chapter 9 of Torn which I finished about an hour or so ago and got Cate to edit for me before she left for the weekend… so I hope you all enjoy it.

I am now going to put some effort in getting my Christmas stories written (though the new drabble challenge at the LJ community hsm_100 might distract me…), but I promise you’ll have five grand stories to read before Christmas day!

I got a livejournal today. Bet you can’t guess what my name for it is… if you’ve guess allyxocorbin, you’re right!

I mostly got it so I could post exclusive drabbles on it. I’m writing the drabbles for this HSM challenge thing and I won’t be posting those anywhere but there. So you’ll have to go there to read them.

Can you believe that?? Just 20 days until Christmas… where the heck has 2008 gone???? It seems to have just zoomed right by only leaving a few standout things in my mind: Corbin concert and going to see HSM3 with my friends and sister.

But I already know that 2009 is going to be awesome. First Corbin’s new movie Free Style comes out in theaters on February 6!! It looks soo amazingly awesome!! Then Corbin’s album comes out and HSM3 comes out on DVD… and that’s just the Corby world… I’m going to Hawaii in January and graduating from college in June… it’s going to be a good year, I can feel it.

But anyway… I’ve gotten totally off topic.. I only came here today to say that I wrote Chapter 8 of Torn last night and that I’ve posted it for you all to read

This is just a quick update since I got things to do before I leave for the day’s festivities.

The second Thanksgiving story I wrote for Mixed Up; Mashed Up Shorts collection is a Chaylor story (rated m) and called A NYC Thanksgiving.

I guess I could have waited until tomorrow and made one big post but oh well. I have two new things for you guys today, one random short story and one of the two Thanksgiving stories I wrote for the Mixed Up; Mashed Up Shorts collection.

So the random story is called Stupid Boys and it truly is a random story. Bascially it’s Donny (one of the sophomores in HSM3) as Taylor’s little brother, Jimmy as Troy’s little brother and Chad as Troy’s best friend and Taylor’s boyfriend… it’s supposed to be funny and so far ff.net folks think it is.

The first of my two Thanksgiving fics (the other will be posted tomorrow) is a Chadpay called A Cattle Creek Gang Thanksgiving. The Cattle Creek Gang, as explained in the story, are our six favorite Wildcats and there will be two other stories as well, a Traylor Christmas and a Ryella New Years Eve so look out for those.

Anyway, I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving… though I’ll probably post again tomorrow before most of you actually eat so yeah… can’t wait :-D

I mentioned this on ff.net but because of school stuff I have to take a break from writing and focus on the last few weeks of the term, especially since I have three papers and two projects due before Dec 11.

What that means is that I’ll only be working the couple Thanksgiving themed stories that I’m planning to write for the holiday, but other than that I won’t be doing anything else.

I’ve posted Chapter 7 of Torn and Chapter 8 will be written as soon as I feel that I can devote the time to it. Wish me luck.

I hope you all had a great Halloween. I spent mine giving out candy to all three of the trick-or-treaters we got…man it was exciting.

Anyway, I have two updates today (and I hope to have another one tomorrow).

The first is a deleted scene from Against the Odds. I’ve been meaning to write it and post it since I finished ATO, but it never happened until last night. So check out Deleted Scene 1 and I hope to have some more deleted scenes out soon as well as the first short of the ATO Shorts.

My other update is the promised Mixed Up; Mashed Up Short that I mentioned last time. It’s a Troyella and it’s called Taylor’s Best Friend.

My plan is to work on Torn tonight and I’ve written most of the chapter in a notebook so I just need to type it up and finish it. So hopefully I’ll have that up for you guys tomorrow.

Okay… so I’m a day early (well techincally, two hours and thirty minutes) but hey…. I’d rather be early then late…

So today’s update is a new Mixed Up; Mashed Up Short and I’m planning on posting another one on Sunday. But today’s short is a Troypay called Victory.

I really hope to get another chapter of Torn written this weekend.

Just wanted to make a quick post about writing a new Mixed Up; Mashed Up Short. It’s quite the unusual pairing-Jason & Taylor. Unlike other stories, this one is more of a friendship based on and is rated K (meaning it’s okay for everyone to read). It’s called Dance Lessons and is inspired by (but contains no spoilers of) HSM3.

It’s my day off and I got up early to watch Corbin on Good Morning America and I’m still waiting for him to come on Regis and Kelly….and in the process I’ve gotten so much done already. I read a chapter for my networking class, I’ve done a load of laundry, I’m updating this site right now and I’m going to use the next hour before Regis and Kelly comes on to finish editing a paper that is due tomorrow.

This week is going to be crazy with HSM3 cast appearances and my VCR told me last night that my recording schedule was full. But come Saturday I will be spending my 23rd birthday hanging out with some of my best friends and watching Corbin (and the rest of the gang) on the big screen.

But anyway… now that I’ve wasted 2 minutes of my paper time, I guess I’ll finish by saying Chapter 5 of Torn is up for your reading pleasure!

So I did update the mini-site for Torn last night, but then I watched my favorite shows Big Bang Theory and How I met Your Mother and then I had to finish a paper, I sorta forgot about posting about it here.

So Chapter 4 of Torn is up and I’ve already started working on Chapter 5 though I don’t know how quickly I’ll get that one finished up, it’ll really depend on what my professor says about the rough draft of my paper. If it’s good I’ll have some time to write fiction… but if it’s bad I’ll be spending the next 7 days trying to rewrite it all…

I gotta go to work, but I hope to have something new for you guys soon…

I can hardly believe there are only 12 days until the movie comes out! It feels like just yesterday it was 90+! I bought my advanced movie tickets on Saturday and me, my sister and some friends are going to see the movie on my birthday! I can’t wait!!

Anyway… I did a lot of stuff today (except my homework… oops)

I wrote a chapter of Torn, but I’m waiting for Cate to edit it for me before I posted it. I haven’t talked to her all weeke, but I’m hoping she’ll have some time to edit it for me tomorrow.

Over at the site for On the Rebound, I put up a new layout which I’ve officially deemed the “Chad & Troy Senior Year” layout. I also posted Chapter 20 today (Chapter 19 was posted back on the 3rd).

Lastly, I just finished writing a new Mixed Up; Mashed Up Short and this one is a Zeke & Taylor fic called Dinner for Two.

Well, I guess I’ll go finish the reading I have to do for tomorrow’s class… so yeah! Enjoy :-D

So anyway… the new update today has nothing to do with Troyella… in fact there isn’t even 1 mention or suggestion of them! I think I hear Cate woohooing haha

Today’s new Mixed Up; Mashed Up Short is a Ryelsi! It’s called Tomorrow and is rated M.

Wouldn’t it be totally (in the words of Troy Bolton and Sharpay Evans) “off the hook” and “fabulous” if I posted an update every day from now until October 24?? I know it would… but yeah… don’t hold your breath…

But hey, you never know when inspiration might hit me.. though inspiration will have to take a back burner between 8am to 12:30pm then basically 2pm to when ever I get out of school which is either 3pm, 6pm or 7:20pm… gotta love college classes and not having any choice as to when your classes will be offered…

Anyway, back to the subject at hand. I hinted yesterday about posting a new Mixed Up; Mashed Up Short for you guys today… well guess what!! It’s up!! It’s a Troyella fic called The Ultimatum, it’s, of course, rated M.

Don’t worry, Cate, I promise that my next non-Torn update will not be Troyella! And judging by how excited I get from seeing HSM3 previews on TV (I’ve seen 3 in the last 24 hours, plus the Sara Lee commercial Corbin’s in) there just might be something soon… good thing I don’t have any TV shows I watch on Tuesday nights :-D

Anyway… I sooo can’t wait for the movie to come out!! It’s going to be awesome!! And according to the countdown thing on my iGoogle page there is exactly: 577 hours : 07 minutes : 43 seconds until the movie comes out here on the West Coast! And in case anybody wanted to know, there’s 26 days until my birthday :-D

I can’t believe it’s almost movie day!! I’m sooo excited for the movie :-D

So the nearness of the movie coming out inspired me to write another drabble. This one is called Senior Prank.

I’ve also posted Chapter 2 of Torn.

I suck when it comes to blogging about updates

…not that it’s news to any of you…

I say this because on Monday I posted Chapter 1 of Torn, my new Troyella fic, and I was totally lazy and decided to put off posting here about it…

But I guess it isn’t a total loss because I do have a second update and that’s just from yesterday. Cate and I seem to be on a roll and that is evident by the fact that a week after I posted the last chapter, I’ve posted Chapter 18 of On the Rebound on the site yesterday.

Quick thanks to Martine for signing my guestbook and I hope you got my email about the Troyella fic, but if not, I hope this post answered your questions.

HAHA I’m such a loser… I should have just posted the prologue of Torn last night like I wanted to… but no I wanted to build up the suspense… but when you’re somebody who thrives on feedback… yeah… it isn’t possible to hold back a story for a few days haha

So now that I’ve come to my senses (or completely lost my mind) the prologue of my new story Torn is up. It’s posted here on the site, on fanfiction.net and I will be posting it on The Music In Me as soon as the site comes back up.

I guess I should explain the title of this post before I continue. It’s as simple as this: Cate doesn’t like “Troyella” and while 75% of the time I agree with her… an idea came to my head a few weeks ago and I knew I had to write it and that it had to be a Troyella…

That story is called Torn and I will be posting the first chapter either Friday or Saturday.. it really depends on how long I can wait before dying of anticipation for you guys to read my first real Troyella fic.

Speaking of Cate, she just updated our story On the Rebound with Chapters 16 and 17 and we will be updating with Chapter 18 in a week or so.

The finally update tonight is a new Mixed Up; Mashed Up Short that, ironically, is also a Troyella fic… it’s rated M and is called After Basketball.

So I just updated this site a few days ago, but I have a Mixed Up; Mashed Up Short for you guys!! I wrote it on the 14th but since I had just updated I decided to wait a couple days to post it. (I’m mean, I know..)

It’s been 9 days, but I have a new Mixed Up; Mashed Up Shorts.

It’s a Chad/Taylor story that I got a request for a few days ago and the moment I read the request I had an idea for it and I just went with it. So it’s (of course) rated M and it’s called Gettin’ Dirty.

I’ve added a new feature to the MU;MUS page. When you click the stories link you’re taken to the page where the stories are listed by couples, but there is a link at the top of that page that you can click to take you to a page that lists the stories in the month that they were posted here on the site with the newest being at the bottom.

I totally suck at updating… well not so much updating as blogging about updates… oh well…

So today’s update has two new Mixed Up; Mashed Up Shorts.

The first is a Troy/Martha fic that I wrote and posted back on September 1st. It’s Rated M (no surprise there) and it’s called Day Dreams.

The second is a Ryan/Kelsi fic that I just finished writing a few moments ago. It too is Rated M and it’s called Hard.

So I have two things today:

1. A new drabble called Saturday Afternoon and while there is no couple or characters specifically identified… I was totally thinking of Corbin Bleu when I wrote it… big surprise I know ;)

2. I also have a new Mixed Up; Mashed Up Short called Becoming… Gabriella? and it’s a Troy/Sharpay story.. oddly enough :-D

So I come baring a new layout made by my host Becca. The pictures are ones that she took at the Corbin Bleu that we went to. I loved the pictures and she offered to make a lot for me so here it is!! This layout also marks the goodbye of two of my favorite layouts, the Chad Danforth baseball one and the Corbin Bleu in his swim trunks… I hated to part with them… but I knew I needed to take them down… gotta keep the layouts fresh on here :-D

Anyway, my big update for today is the unveiling of my new subsite for the Mixed Up; Mashed Up Shorts collection. I think it’s better organized now and you guys can request stories from that page.

But don’t worry… that’s not all… I finally finished Secret Lovers: Part 2 and it’s up and ready for you guys to read.

So I just finished a new Mixed Up; Mashed Up Short a few minutes ago, but I also have one that I wrote earlier this week and just haven’t gotten around to posting yet. So here are the new shorts I have for y’all.

The first one that I wrote earlier this week is a Chad & Gabriella short called Fourth Quarter and like most of the other stories in the collection, it contains mature themes.

The second is a couple I’ve never written before and it’s a Ryan & Taylor story called Ending Unplanned and it too has mature themes.

I will say that I’m in the process (well the thinking process) of writing a story for the collection that will not contain mature themes and I hope to write it soon.

I saw Corbin Bleu on concert on Friday… and I’m in love with him way more than I already was hehe The concert just was unbelievable… I want to see him again and soon!

Anyway, today I have a new Mixed Up; Mashed Up Short for you, though it’s different from the others because it’s part 1 of a 2 part story… so anyway… without further ado a Troy/Taylor story called Secret Lovers: Part 1.

I really meant to post these days ago…. I think I stated one morning before work, then realized what time it was so I had leave and I never remembered to come back and put them up… whoops.

So I have a Mixed Up; Mashed Up Short for you guys. It’s a new couple, Zeke & Taylor, it’s called Aphrodisiac and (like the rest) is rated M.

The other update is a drabble that is rated T called Jump In! and stars Chad, Taylor, Troy and Gabriella.

So it’s been a week since I updated last and since then I’ve written three short stories… well technically I wrote 2 drabbles and 1 short story.

The two drabbles are: I Kissed A Girl and 97 Days.

The short story is a Mixed Up; Mashed Up Short called Chemistry is a rated M Chaylor story.

I knew this day would come and while I’m really happy that I finished Against the Odds, I’m sad to see it go. I finished writing Chapter 20 an hour or so ago and I’ve posted it on the website (along with two new extras) for you guys to check out.

I’ve decided I’m not 100% ready to let go of the HSM cast as they appear in ATO, but I’m not going to do a full scale sequel… after all, my track record with sequels isn’t the greatest… but I plan to write some short stories that follow the live of the ATO gang for a few events.

My number one goal now that ATO is finish is to work on OTR with Cate and work on stories for the Mixed Up; Mashed Up Shorts collection.

So I really should have updated this site days ago, but I didn’t get around to it. But because I’m a slacker (or maybe because I’m just lazy) I’m posting everything I have left to post of Second Best, including the third alternative ending that hasn’t been posted anywhere else :-D

Since the last time I updated this site, I have posted Chapters 6 and 7 and two alternative endings of Second Best on fanfiction.net. So those have all been added to this site as well as the third alternative ending that I won’t be posting on ff.net until tomorrow.

I also have a brand new Mixed Up; Mashed Up Short called It Was You, it’s a Ryan/Gabriella fic rated M.

On a personal note, I’m leaving for vacation tomorrow and I’ll be back Sunday, hopefully with a lot of updates *crosses fingers*

So I only have one chapter for you guys right now. I haven’t gotten enough reviews of Second Best to post a new chapter of that, but I have the second to last chapter of Against the Odds up and ready for you to read.

My other update today is in the Flight 29 Down fandom. I’ve been wanting to write something about Nathan (Corbin’s character) and his love interest Daley and last night I was going to work on Against the Odds, but instead a short Nathan/Daley story flowed out of me. I typed it up this morning before work and it’s called Here With You.

I also started working on a Mixed Up; Mashed Up short last night and I’ll hopefully finish it soon.

Three updates in three days… even I can hardly believe that!!

I’ve posted the second chapter of Second Best and when I started writing the story I had a definite ending in mi, but after reading reviews the story received on fanfiction.net, I’m not so sure how I want it to end anymore…

Since I’m out of school for a week I’m going to try and get a lot of writing done when I’m not working. So hopefully by weeks end I’ll have a few chapters of Second Best finished, Against the Odds finished completely and maybe one or two Mixed Up; Mashed Up shorts.

My brother’s graduation party was a smashing success last night… but I ended up watching High School Musical 2 instead of writing… go me! HAHA

So today I sat down and told myself I had to finish this chapter and it actually came really easy to me (just like I had hoped).

So without further ado (and because I’m really, really hungry and need food) Chapter 18 of Against the Odds is up for your reading pleasure. Also, check out the extra section and you’ll find something new ;)

So as you guys can [hopefully] tell, there is a new layout. Since I can’t wait until the release of HSM3 I decided to make a layout using the promo picture and it makes sense for Nobody But You to have a layout featuring the cast since most of the stories thus far have been about the characters of HSM.

Speaking of stories, I have a new one for you guys! It’s called Second Best and the first chapter is posted. It’ll be a story with just 7 chapters as well as a few alternate endings.

I have one other update for you all today and that’s Chapter 13 of On the Rebound, I just posted it this morning.

I hope to have a new chapter of Against the Odds for you sometime today or tomorrow. I have to do some stuff tonight before I go to my brother’s high school graduation party, so it may not get done today, but I’ve already started it and I don’t think it should take long to finish it…

I just wanted to let you guys know that me and my friend Cate just put up the link to our new High School Musical collaboration!!

It’s called “On the Rebound” and it follows best friends Troy Bolton and Chad Danforth as they leave the state of New Mexico to pursue their dreams of playing ball at the college level. Since they’ve left friends, family and high school girlfriends behind, they meet a whole new cast of characters on their journey, including two original female characters that catch the guys’ eyes.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I just finished and posted Chapter 5 of Against the Odds and it’s a big chapter!!! Check it out!

In honor of Corbin’s birthday (and the fact that I finished writing it today) I’ve posted Chapter 4 of Against the Odds.

I just posted Chapter 3 of Against the Odds here on the site and on fanfiction.net. I’ve also posted another extra on the website for ATO.

I got a story idea a couple days ago and I started working on it last night. Right now I’m gonna keep it under wraps, but it might come out soon….

Posted the first chapter of my brand new Chad/Taylor story Against the Odds. The story will contain mature scenes throughout and is suggested only for those who can deal with that type of stuff.

So I just posted the last chapter of Group Date to the site. I’m sad that it’s over, but at the same time, I’m happy to move on. In fact, last night (Sunday) I started a new High School Musical story that will be rated M for mature audiences only, but you’ll have to wait until I start posting it before you find out who the couples are or if there are any at all… tricky, I know…

In other exciting news, my friend Cate and I are getting really excited about our first High School Musical collaboration called On the Rebound. We’re still in the planning stages, but hopefully it will go quickly so we can get it out to you all!

I’m happy to announce that I just finished writing Chapter 10 of Group Date and when I say just, I mean like ten minutes ago. I’m exhausted but I am so happy to have this story done… of course I haven’t posted the last chapter here yet. I posted Chapter 9 on fanfiction.net yesterday (Saturday) around 3:15pm and I just posted it here.

So I’ve finally gotten the layout setup, but I’m still working on getting the pages setup.

The stories that will be posted here first are the only two I’ve written thus far and that is a High School Musical short story and a short High School Musical chapter story.

I really hate to bring this up, but it has happened before so I just want to remind everyone that the graphics made for and displayed on this website are MINE and not to be used anywhere else! And it doesn’t matter if you “found it on google” the fact of the matter is that I made this layout and it took me along time, so make your own.
